SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
PROPOSED BURNING - TRACK CLOSURES 2/3/2010
 Tuesday, 2 March 2010

Dear Stakeholders

The recent weather conditions across the Otways have been favourable and as a result Parks Victoria, together with Department of Sustainability and Environment, will be commencing their Autumn Prescribed Burn program this week. As a result of these burns a number of roads, tracks and visitor sites will be closed from 0800hrs on the date of the burn until the area can be declared safe. Staff will be working to achieve a safe condition as fast as possible so that visitation is not disrupted for too long.
